When to write

- File or reader failures — If an ebook will not open, displays garbled text, or behaves unexpectedly on your device or browser.
- Accessibility problems — If a file lacks proper structure, alternative text, or readable markup that prevents you from using assistive technology.
- Privacy questions — If you have concerns about how your data is handled while browsing or downloading, or wish to request removal of personal information inadvertently included in a public-domain text.
- Copyright or rights concerns — If you believe a work in our catalogue is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights to a text and wish to discuss its listing.

What to include in your message
To help us address your report promptly, please include as many of the following details as possible:
- The exact page URL where you encountered the issue.

Unsolicited submissions
We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts or new editions of public-domain works for inclusion. If you have prepared a transcription or restoration of a text that is not yet in our catalogue, we recommend offering it to a dedicated digital repository or publisher. We prefer to focus on works that have already been published in reliable editions and are widely recognised.

Individual, clearly written messages are far more likely to be addressed effectively.
